Based on Williams Hill Road just outside of Rochester, Vineyard View Winery is a beautiful bar and tasting room overlooking the nearby Keuka Lake. With a menu of European wines and its own native samples, the view over the vineyards makes this a great day trip out of the city center.

Overlooking Thomas Creek, this cidery is one of the best options for a country visit without the commute. With a small indoor bar and ample outdoor seating, the Oak and Apple Cidery specializes in locally sourced apple cider and brews the tart, crisp nectar on site. Take a tour and see, taste and smell the cider for yourself.

Canandaigua Wine Walk

Located next to one of the New York Finger Lakes, the Canandaigua Wine Walk gives you a chance to explore some of the local wineries that make this stunning landscape so famous. Taking place every first Saturday of the month, the wine walk takes place from 4 pm to 7 pm.

Three Heads Brewing

Base don Atlantic Avenue, Three Heads Brewing is one of the most centrally located Rochester breweries. With individuality and community at their heart, Roc Brewing Co is a local brewery that put taste first. With a range of ales, lagers, and stouts to try, the Roc Brewing team have been lovingly crafting their inventions from the shores of the Genesee River for nearly ten years now. 

Swiftwater Brewing Company

Another Genesee River local, the Swiftwater Brewing Company is a brewery focussing on both American style ales and German Pilsner lagers. These beers are available on tasting menus during tours and for private events as well as being served at their community-focused brewery bar.
